QlikView Overview
QlikView is a new kind of Business Intelligence platform that’s driving spectacular results for over 15,000 companies across 100 countries. So simple and intuitive to use, it takes just minutes to learn – and delivers industrial strength power to meet the largest enterprise requirements. QlikView is a single integrated BI platform that covers: reporting; monitoring; dashboards and analysis; combining data extraction (ETL); data storage; an engine for multi-dimensional analysis and process automation; data security; an end-user interface; and multiple platforms (fat client, thin client and web) all in one affordable product.
QlikView’s simplicity lets anyone easily consolidate, search, visualise, and analyse all their data for unprecedented business insight. Serving up answers in an instant, on screen, without having to wait around for any report. It’s about having 1-click access to visually rich, interactive dashboards to transactional level detail that you can build quickly and modify easily.
Inside Info pioneered QlikView in Australia, launching the product here in 2003 and is the largest and most experienced end-to-end QlikView solutions provider responsible for the majority of enterprise-class deployments locally.

Users want to visualise and interact with all of their information through any dimension in one application. Traditional disk-based tools create a proliferation of cubes and views to support different aspects of the same data leading to confusion, errors, and administrative overhead. QlikView’s visual design elements provide the flexibility to bring multiple viewpoints into one, simplifying the end user experience and accelerating business value.
QlikView allows users to search and interact with their data in the same way they think - associatively. Users can instantly see connections and relationships between data residing in different applications, systems, organisations, and regions, all by themselves. End users benefit from not being trapped by pre-calculated hierarchical structures because all data is held in-memory and calculations are made when requested and not prior. Since data does not have to be aggregated, users can analyse the entire data volume down to the transaction level. For instance, a car dealership chain could load maintenance data and vehicle lease trade-in history data into the QlikView in-memory solution regardless of where it is and instantly see relationships between maintenance records, lease trade-in timelines and car value, allowing them to predict which customers are likely to trade-in leases, and which customers are most profitable.
QlikView delivers value fast for organisations. According to IDC 44% of 800 QlikView users surveyed around the globe were deployed in 1 month with 77% deployed within 3 months.
