QlikView Qonnect Partner Program Expands By 25%
Sydney, Australia, April 6, 2009 – QlikTech, the world’s fastest-growing Business Intelligence (BI) software company, today announced 25% growth of its partner network at Qonnections 2009, the company’s annual Global Partner Summit. More than 400 partners from around the world, including Australia’s Inside Info, are gathered in Barcelona at the event to share best practices for sales and support of the QlikView business analytics product.
The Qonnect global partner program has expanded market penetration of QlikView through alliances with more than 875 solution providers around the world. In 2008, QlikTech not only aggressively expanded its global partner network, it also increased the percentage of sales derived from it to add over 3800 new customers in 2008, with roughly 10 of every 13 coming through partners. Locally Inside Info grew its customer base by 45% to 230 businesses in Australia, with strong contribution from partners.
In July, Inside Info will stage the first Australian Qonnections customer and partner event in Sydney for its own network. Local QlikView partners include those who resell the product, such as Synateq in Tasmania, service providers that deliver specialised domain expertise like Satsuma, complementary technology companies like Hewlett-Packard (Neoview) and Sybase (IQ), and OEM partners whose solutions are “Powered by QlikView,” for more visual dashboards and reporting, including Greentree, JIWA Financials and Leap Legal Software. Inside Info sees opportunity for further partner growth in regions such as Queensland, and vertical industries health and financial services.
“QlikTech’s partner model is fundamental to accelerating our growth,” said Lars Bjork, CEO of QlikTech. “I am proud to see that the continued adoption and expansion of QlikView is driving the success of hundreds of our alliance partners. In a climate where most are experiencing stagnant sales, QlikTech and its partners continue to gain new ground, introducing the power of QlikView to new sectors and geographies.”
“We attend Qonnect every year as it’s a great opportunity to hear from other customers and share experiences across regions, while collectively aligning priorities for the year ahead,” said Stuart Barnard, Managing Director at Inside Info. “We’re looking forward to replicating this success with Qonnect in Sydney later this year and invite all interested parties to register and come along to see what the QlikView buzz is about.”
