Leading apparel retailer APG & Co (formerly Apparel Group), is home to the iconic Australian fashion brands Sportscraft, JAG, Willow and Saba. The company also has a private label division which provides design and manufacturing services for many Australian retailers.

APG’s management and operational reporting environment for sales and stock was based on a number of standard fixed reports and Excel pivot tables built off their Microsoft SQL Data Warehouse, which was fed by the ERP system, AP21 and their forecasting solution. Reporting proved to be time consuming, taking around one day per week, and limited as the information flow to stores was in a fixed pdf format, preventing Store Managers to easily identify stock and sales opportunities.
