Global packaging leader Amcor initiated the ‘Value Plus’ project to build sales and marketing excellence company-wide. Inside Info was chosen as Amcor’s BI partner to deliver interactive dashboards showing plant, customer and product level profitability and supply chain analysis across the business using QlikView on top of SAP BW. The solution was rolled out to over 500 employees in 25 works days allocating costs back to invoice line and ship to level for over 1 million SKU’s. IT analysts Gartner selected Amcor as the only Australian finalist in the 2009 BI Excellence Awards for this project, estimating an increase in Amcor’s gross profit margin by 1% in the first year alone.
Apparel Group, home to the iconic Saba and Sportscraft brands, builds greater intelligence into its business and store performance with Inside Info. Based on the Inside Retail Dashboard, Inside Info replaced Apparel’s Retail Business Analysis reporting suite with two interactive analysis dashboards for Sales & Stock for head office and its stores, rolled out to over 300 users in 35 days.

Leading air conditioning supplier, Fujitsu General uses Inside Info’s QlikView applications to increase line level, cost and stock allocation profitability and improve sales and marketing initiatives in the areas of rebates, customer orders, stock allocations and deliveries. Applications were designed and delivered to over 150 management, sales, marketing, finance and operational staff in just 3 weeks integrating with Fujitsu’s Epicor ERP. As a result, Fujitsu General has achieved a 15% improved return on rebate investment, improved inventory management by 12% and lifted IT staff productivity by 15%. Leading grocery distributor Manassen Foods needed to understand performance across multiple businesses at a Group and individual level to empower sales, operational and management teams. With a new Lawson ERP go-live imminent, Inside Info’s Inside Lawson Dashboard was chosen bringing to the table a best-practice sales, customer, product, inventory and financial analysis application. Delivered in just 4 weeks to over 100 users, Manassen has improved delivery to promise to 97% of goods, saving the business significantly within the first year, due to better management of distressed stock.

Bianco is a leading supplier of structural steel, reinforcing, building hire, construction equipment, tools and services to the building, construction, civil, Government and mining industries. Toro is a leading worldwide provider of outdoor maintenance and beautification products for home, recreation and commercial. Toro Australia deployed QlikView to operational, sales and management staff to consolidate data from multiple systems including SAP BW, service centre, freight and CRM management systems.
